What is 'dedicated hosting' ?
This term is used to describe the service offered by companies such as ourselves where clients are provided with a server which is leased on a monthly basis in our data centre. |

Why is this so cheap?
By purchasing and installing servers in bulk using a standardised specification, we are able to pass on significant cost savings to you.

Can I upgrade the specification?
In order to get the best pricing and service we need to buy in bulk and ensure we have adequate availability of spares in case of problems. We can offer memory upgrades relatively easily, but more complicated upgrades significantly add to the cost.
We can provide custom dedicated servers if required, or you may wish to consider our co-location services. |

Do I have 'root' access?
When we hand over the login details to your server, we provide you with the 'root' (or other equivalent administrator login in Windows 2000 for example) password.
Once you have the keys to the server, we don't get involved with what software you install on it as long as you comply with our acceptable use policy (e.g. no sending of unsolicited bulk e-mail, illegal content, etc.)
